  9. detection of computer virus.

  13. General information:
  14.     ->  NEW BBS NUMBER! The Thunderbyte support BBS in The Netherlands is
  15.         now a multi-line BBS, available via a new phone number:

  17.         (Dutch Residents, dial 059 182 011).
  18.         All lines are available through just this ONE number. We will keep
  19.         on adding lines until the occupancy of the BBS remains within
  20.         acceptable limits.

  24.     -   Modified the code tracer. Heuristic alarms now less often appear
  25.         on high-level-language programs. TbScan now performs slightly
  26.         faster. Increased the heuristic detection.

  28.     -   Improved the polymorphic virus detection.

  30.     -   TbScan now also detects the most common archives while scanning
  31.         non-executable files, displaying a 'p' behind the filename.

  33.     -   Scanning of non-executable files is now faster.

  35.     -   Increased the maximum number of sub-directories that one directory
  36.         can contain from 1024 to 1536.

  38.     -   Implemented full Windows-OS/2 virus detection! If TbScan detects
  39.         that a program also has a Windows or OS/2 entry point, this
  40.         entry point will be located and scanned too. Due to the design
  41.         of Windows-OS/2 software, scanning of the Windows-OS/2 entry
  42.         point is relatively time consuming. If you don't use Windows or
  43.         OS/2 and feel that the detection of the just three Windows viruses
  44.         and one OS/2 virus is not worth the scan speed penalty of 10%, you
  45.         can switch the Windows-OS/2 scanning off with option 'nowin' (nw).
